Sahlab Cortas 200g
Sahlab (Sahlep or Salep) is a warm Middle Eastern milk pudding made from milk, corn flour and mastic. It is very popular in Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and other Middle Eastern countries. It is usually served hot to give you a nice cozy and warm feeling. Sahlap is usually garnished with pine nuts, pistachio and other nuts as well as cinnamon powder.
How to Make Sahlab?
Mix 4 cups of milk [800ml) with the content of the pack. Put on cooker and stir constantly until boiling. Turn off the cooker when desired consistency is reached and add one teaspoon of rose Water and one teaspoon of orange blossom water. Transfer to dessert bowls. Serve hot after decorating with pistachio, pine nuts, almond and cinnamon powder.
